Tanaka Farms

HI again!I've been a bite late on my posts so I'm going to make up for them by writing them these next 4 days.Okay so just this last Saturday me and my family went to Tanaka Farms to have something to do .We decided to go on a over priced watermelon tour that turned out to be worth it :D.So here are the details.The tour started early in the morning around noonish right after the previous tours that were going on .We all gathered in the tractor wagon to start our tour.The tour lady introduced us to some plants,fruit trees,and some ways they kept their small farm pesticides free along the way picking out fresh fruit and veggies for us to samples (plentiful :9).Nearing the end  of our ride we stopped at a large tent next to a huge watermellon field.There they sliced open some bigger veggies and then a variety of melons and gave use a mini watermelon to take home and eat.They were all so yummy:D.After that we went back to the main gates.We then bought 10 ears of corn at their small market(They tasted GREAT with out being boiled) for $8 . I would recommend this for the entire family and for people who live in Orange County,California .Kids under 2 enter free(but get no watermelon to take home).It is a great family owned farm that encourages people to appreciate what people grow.SORRY for my grammer.

Chocolate the Event Review

\Hi peeps!

Remember that post I wrote on the chocolate exibit that I told you guys I would attend...?Well it was today and it was pretty good.so here's how it went if your wondering...

(in bullet point format)

• arrived at 4:00p.m.
• went to a chef competition(with the star of kid in the candy store X'D)
• had some samples from the competition
• wandered around the shops
• wandered around to find good food
• found no good food
• went to the mall to eat
• ate some yummy creepes
• went back to the festival and waited for an hour for the fashion show to begin
• did I mention we were right next to the speakers for a woopin' hour O.O
• went to get some shaved ice sold at the mini store tents
• finally saw the fashion show
• hear some great lady sing her heart ou(really good)
• heard some really amatureish "rockist" sing and dance with the Real House Wives of Orange County

~Note:

He had a wig-a belly belt(which in the middle off the song started tearing on how huge that "mound"was)-horrible voice-extream outfit(he had on this weird double layered pants that kept on falling)-and a repetitive lyric line that went "take me to the other side".The people on the other side(haha ) of the cat walk,directly in front of us.were laughting their heads off(one was even crying of laughter).The Real House wives didn't help but step side to side...

It was all pretty good.We didn't attend the exibit becauase we already went to it.The guy who made it all possible was a really good soulded man that had a heart for kids(money would go to charity).The only problem with it was that it did not earn the right amount of publicity it deserved.I belive it was a crowed of 300-400 people....O well,at least it was fun:)
